​In 2020 while many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. In 2021 and 2022 we continue to exceed your expectations with our enhances safety precautions.

As we reopen our doors in the late Spring on 2020 we enhanced our already vigilant approach to infection control since this has always been a top priority. We adhere to the guidelines made by the ADA, CDC, OSHA and IDPH and keep current to each agencies' recommendations.

Since the Spring of 2020 you may have noticed changes as you come in for your next appointment at Journey Dental:

• In compliance with the recommendations for public health, we ask that you reschedule your appointment if you have a fever, cough, flu-like symptoms or have had any direct contact with a positive Covid-19 person in the last 21 days
• If you have already had Covid-19, please inform us and we will reschedule you or appoint you accordingly
• Please bring an updated list of medications
• Please notify us if there has been a change in your insurance
• Before your appointment, you have the option to stay in your car instead of the waiting room until we're ready to seat you in your personal operatory. Simply call us when you arrive, and we will let you know when we're ready for you.
• Upon entering Journey Dental, you will be asked to sanitize your hands and wear a mask
• We will ask you screening questions prior to (when possible) and upon arrival to our office
• Please maintain 6 feet of social distancing with others in the waiting room and our front office staff
• At the beginning of every appointment, you will be asked to pre-rinse with Listerine which has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties
• HEPA filters have been placed in each of the patient treatment rooms
• Feel free to bring your own pens to use as needed and if you are sensitive to our dental light, please bring your own protective eyewear. We can provide a disinfected pair if you prefer as well.
